  COSTA MESA, Calif. –  Seven elementary school students are recovering in Costa Mesa after they took a bite of a marijuana brownie that a boy brought to school.
The kids are all aged 10 to 12.
Now, parents, school officials and police want to know where the boy got the pot-laced brownie.
 
Costa Mesa police say they’re talking with the parents of all seven kids who got sick from that brownie, including the parents of the boy who brought it to school.
Most of the children who went to the hospital with dizziness, vomiting and nausea, have been released to go home from the hospital.
 
Now begins an investigation into how that 5th-grader got a marijuana-laced brownie, which he shared with six other kids.
Alejandro Rodriguez said his cousin, the only girl who took a bite, went to the hospital feeling very ill.
“She’s throwing up, and she’s feeling kind of high and doesn’t remember anyone, supposedly,” Alejandro said.

To the hospital, good grief, there had better be more in there than marijuana.

Cripes when I was young and over did it on booze, the cure was to simply hug the china.

A brownie split 7 ways wouldn't seem like much ubnless it was really loaded with pot or something else doesn't seem like it would cause vomiting. Musta been something else in there. Mighty potent to do all they said. POWDERMAN.

maybe it was a tray of brownies, or
a big one. if they were all just kids
like it stated, they very well could have
got sick if they were high. as children they
shouldn't have any experience with the
effects of drugs, so maybe they did get sick.
most 10 year olds aren't experienced bakers
so i would think an adult would have made it
and would have likely spiked it up liberally
with pot for adult consumption.
the boys parents need checking on.
i doubt he made it himself.
