Mandatory term limits!

No more then 3 terms. Then they must enter the private sector for 15 years (lobbyist etc will not count as private sector). After 15 years they can run again. This time with a 2 term limit.

We need to drastically reduce the scope of permissible executive orders the POTUS may write.  We also need to reduce the amount  of discressionary trips the POTUS and/or his family make on  the public dime.

Term limit. One . Open election. Democracy is a great idea, but this is a Republic.

Three terms for represenatives and one for senators. Never run for reelection. Six years is time enough for them to cause us trouble. Same health plan ( Obama care) and retirement (SS) as the rest of the citizens have to accept. Salary increases tied to the government version of inflation (never as high as it actually is) just like SS.

If they had to live to the same standard as they impose on us it might wake some of them up and a few things might change for the better.

I agree with all of the above but good luck getting them to agree with these terms.

Why should the taxpayer pay for even one of the president's, or his wife and kid's vacations?  How many of you had your employer pay for your vacation?  For crying out loud, the president is not royalty--he is a public servant--nothing more--nothing less.  Well, the one we have now does happen to be something less; he's a creep.

Anyway, I'm so sick and tired of our politicians being treated as if they are something special like some kind of celebrity.  They need to be reminded that our founders, or their ancestors left their origins to escape the chains of tyranny placed on them by people who thought they were special.  I guess some people just have to have someone to worship and adore--I don't.
