Saw a used Dan Wesson .22LR rifle for sale at local gun store. Any data on this?  Who made it? Are they accurate? The "coyote"  model.

I love their handguns, but as I understand it,
their brief venture into the rifle market failed
miserably. I have heard that they may soon
give it another try. We shall see what happens.

The trigger on this is crisp and like breaking glass. Has an Anshutz ms type stock.  E-mailed Dan Wesson twice for info---no response.  ??  Maybe someone knows something.

65vett :  Their were originally 14 pilot rifles made to show the board to get their oppinion of them and the pilot rifles were wonderful a friend of mine has serial no. cooo1 of the original 14, if you call Dan Wesson and ask to speak to someone who has info. on that rifle theirs a man their and  at present cant remember his name , he can give you some breakdown on them, the one my friend has is a great shooter but I told him to put it away because of the serial no. and to watch the $$ go up on it as like they say serial no. 1 of anything is worth something. :D    JIM

65Vett:  At present he only has the one mag, and it is the 10 rounder, they make a 6 rounder that would aid in the apearance of the rifle, but at present only the 10 rounder and the last time I talked to dan wessen thewy had some 10 rounders left in the parts dept, but that has been a few mounths ago as was thinking of cutting down one of them to make it look better in the rifle. :D    JIM
