Marlin lever take-down "trapper"
« on: March 19, 2013, 09:03:17 AM »
My neighbor came by yesterday with his latest gun show find. It was a neat little Marlin straight grip, lever action take-down. Does anyone know anything about these- like when they were made and what they called them. He didn't tell me what he paid for it but I assume it was a little pricey.

Google images of a Marlin model 39. They made a bunch of variations. I own a Golden 39-A, X-C-LENT firearm.

It's called a model 39 tds or something. I've had one since '88. Cool little rifle.
