Topper Jr Model 490 Combo

Ran across a Topper Jr Model 490 combo 30-30 410 today.  Don't really know what I will do with it, but I had never seen one still with both factory barrels.  AF serial number, snap on forearm and pre-transfer bar.  Anyone have one of these?  It looks nice for being as old as it is (over 40 years I think)  Only missing the front bead on the 410 barrel.  If I can figure out how to post pistures from Arizona I will take some.  Probably over paid, but gave $250 for it.  Larry

I will try to get some pictures up, it has a while line recoil pad on it, appears to be a youth stock, has the barrels that have a contour at the breach end of the barrel, smaller raidus on top than on the bottom, drilled and tapped for a scope base but not the H&R pattern, has a flip up rear sight on the 30-30 barrel.  Larry

The latest BBGV lists the M490 Topper Jr as available in 20ga, 28ga and .410,  being a junior version of the M158, so the 30-30 barrel was an accessory barrel, there's no rifle M490 or combo listed.  ;)

Have Two of the 158 combo's,(30-30  x 20ga.)Messed up 30-30 barrel on one of 'em  >:( and bought an unprofiled 158 30-30 off of Evil-bay to replace it ??? ..gonna git it relined(the bad one)one of these days :-\ ..one st looks brand new.. ;D
