20 gauge rifled barrel question...
« on: March 27, 2013, 05:40:03 PM »
I am thinking about sending my SB1 reciever to be fit for a 20 gauge rifled slug barrel. Does anyone know if the barrel with rifle sights comes drilled and tapped? I'd like the option to use both open sight and a scope.

Thanks

My tracker II is a 2006 model I believe and it is not drilled and tapped I'm pretty sure they don't come that way for the factory. But a gunsmith should be able to do it for you real quick and cheap.

Quick and cheap are relative terms.  ;D

If you can D&T it yourself or have a friend do it then it's cheap.  I think the going rate for most gunsmiths is $15-$20 per hole.  Turn-around time depends on his workload and how carefully he works.  Hopefully on MY gun he would take the time to do it right!
