Loading brass that had bullets pulled?

I pulled the bullets, with the RCBS hammer bullet puler, from some .243 cases. I dumped the powder and now want to reload these cases. They have live primers. Will I see any difference loading without resizing the necks. Thanks, Don

I recently did that with some reloads that came with a rifle. I pulled the bullets, then charged the powder I wanted and re-seated the same bullets. It all worked fine, I didn't re-size the neck or anything. These were 243 loads.

I've done it a few time without any problems. Seating seems tight to me.

If these are jacketed bullets that you're going to load, then I would go ahead and use the cases as is. If using lead boolits, then I would first flare the case neck.

one problem that can occur doing this is a lack of neck tension on the bullet. When you seat a bullet there is resistance. The bullet is just slightly bigger then the neck. After pulling a bullet the brass doesnt spring back and when you seat another bullet in the case it will have less neck tension. that can effect your group size quite a bit. So if you do it at least shoot some to see if your point of aim changed and dont be suprised if your one inch group is now a two inch group.

If your worried about safety, I would not be concerned. UNLESS the bullets are loose enough to be pushed deeply into cases in magazine.
I have used them too and have not had a problem.
I think I the worst you should see is accuraacy and maybe bullet movement as effected because of bullet retention.
