Do you enjoy freedom?

  I truly believe some people do, but others, I wonder.  ..
      Here is a completed research by George Mason U.   It tells us which states of the US are most free and which ones are most in slavery to a governmental hierarchy..

   Since the "freedom gap" is widening, companies and people are "voting with their feet" and moving from the slave states to the free states!

    Quite obviously, the more leftie the state government, the less free that state's residents are.  Sadly, I must report that my residence is in the #1 slave state.  Noo Yawk is #1 !!   Now that is something to boast about. 
  What else can we expect when people knowingly elect liberal "control freaks" to higher offices?
 
   I have just one question...   If you believe in freedom and vote toward the left.. what do you use in place of brains?

New York would be a great state if it didn't have NYC.  I have family and friends there.  Beautiful country upstate.

Orange County is on the coast and is conservitive, relitivly little crime compared to the liberal county of LA. 
OK other  than Santa Anna where the city council has stated they are a sactuary city and then needed to eliminate all DUI check points as all they caught were illegals drunk and since they were a sactuary city they needed to let them go.

The same is true for Washington and Oregon.  Highly poopulated areas anywhere are detrimental to freedom.  Some thought should be given to limiting the size of cities.

I was watching something on HBO the other day and a blurb for a new show came on.  One of the guys on the show said something about  the world is changing and we don't know but we are here to report what is happening. 
I think that sums up liberalism, they are not sure where the changes will take us but they want the change, they have some direction and it is away from what works, it is about more control from a central government.  It is not about the law but about hte destruction of the law.  If the law mattered then they would change the ones they disagree with.  They would not ignore laws, if you can ignore one law you can ignore all laws.

  Right you are vabeachman; I live in far western NY.  My county borders PA and has 3 Indian reservations (bless them, they are a sovereign nation) and the county slogan is "Naturally Yours".  We are as far from that cesspool with a big apple in it ...as are Richmond, Va or Morgantown, WVA.  We are "flyover country" to those clowns..  but they have the population (votes).. and we have to endure their big-city tyranny.
  NY State has some of the best hunting, fishing and outdoor sports one can imagine.  For fishermen, we have the Great Lakes, the incomparable Finger Lakes.. and very special trout streams. Hunting is more free (simply by request) than most southern or western states and includes great whitetail and black bear as big game.  We don't have hogs yet, but we aren't too eager to get them.
       Those city folks are hard to understand.  We still hear some of them moaning about a history of slavery which ended some 150 years ago, and never was practiced in NY;  but then these same LIV individuals vote in favor of more slavery to government every time they go into the voting booths!
  Not here where I live, my county was the first to vote to reject Adolph Cuomo's tyrannical gun bill.. Some 52 out of 62 counties have already voted so and more considering to follow..  NY City and environs are the only counties in favor of the garbage.
 
   See below; 52 of 62 counties are already on record of rejecting "Adolph's Law", 40 are already preparing repeal law suits.. (rejecting counties in green, blue likely will..white, are slavery suckers..
