I'm seeing more and more pictures of White Moose. 40 years ago it was unheard of. Thyen about 25 years ago we started seeing pictures and hearing reports of White Moose scattered all over the state. This year I've seen pictures of seven or eight White Moose here in the Interior of Alaska. I was just on facebook looking in the Alaska Moose Federation page and someone had a picture of a beautiful healthy looking White Moose. It was last years calf, and looked like it was doing good.Is Mother Nature telling us something? maybe global warming will be real For those interested here is the link to the White Moose about half way down the page. Just above the pictures of Vince Holton and I picking up a Dead Moose, being filmed by Nat Geo. https://www.facebook.com/groups/272478706923/10151339693866924/ This is only good for people who have a login for facebook. These animals are not classified as Albino. Albino is a genetic mistake, red eyes and are usually deficient in several areas.
