Not to change the subject much, but do you know what size screw fits the H&R front sights? I have one missing.

depends, some are #6 (IIRC 48 tpi) and others are #3 (don't remember the tpi, prob. 56 or 64).   FAQs probably have the screw sizes.

Makes me wonder what he's into if he has those on a regular basis. Is he a gunsmith that specializes in shortening Handi barrels? If not him, then where is he getting them from? No one I know that collects those sights all by themselves.

He also sells the buffalo classic rear peeps for 18 bucks. He didn't list any this week.

I wonder where he gets them too.  I think they would have to be from scope mounts.  Sure seems like a lot of them though.
