I bought a Leupold VX3 recently, 3.5 X 10. Went to the range today for sight in. I had the scope on 3.5 power and adjusted to hit dead on at 100 yards. Win Model 70 7MMWSM.
I shot one 3 shot group and had a 1MOA group, turned the scope to 10x and fired a three shot group and bullets went 2.5 inches right and 3 inches high. Rotated back to 3.5 and group went back to original p.o.i.
Whats up with this. I've shot a bunch in my lifetime and never had this to happen before. And yes everthing was right with the mounts and base. This rifle is definately not the fault.
Any help with this problem would be welcomed.
Thanks Tacomaj
