seeking original info on a S&W revolver
« on: November 21, 2021, 04:05:12 PM »
A friend has a 6" S&W revolver that belonged to his dad back into the 1960's possibly earlier.  I think its a 38, maybe 357 (waiting to hear from him on that)
He's trying to find out some history on it - when made etc.

Where is the best place for him to start looking for info
He said he email S&W and never got an answer.

Any guidance would be welcome.

thank you.

There is as S&W forum site: http://smith-wessonforum.com/

I think ya have to join to ask questions but that's where the knowledge is on the subject.

You will need the model # and SN to expect any answers. With those you might even get enough info right here. A good photo would also help.
