What does this thing shoot?

My son gave this mini cannon to Me,  it has no name or other markings. The overall length is 2.66", bore dimeter at the muzzle is .22" and the chamber diameter is .25"

 It looks to have a firing pin in the cascabel, so a guess would be a .22 blank, or BB, or CB cap. Assuming the pin's location will fire one.  More pictures would be helpful, of the chamber, and bore, and any other details that could help you use it safely.

What ever it is it is center fire and it is so small that it would take a pro to get a picture of the chamber. But I will try.
