Went to the new Cabela`s in Columbus to their pregrand opening to day. Want a waist of time. It was so crowded that the people had to take turns breathing. I did not see any bargins, but I was in and out in less than 1/2 hr., what a mess.

There goes not paying sales tax when buying from them now that they have a presence here... I never did mind the couple trips a year to wheeling which is about as close to me as Columbus...

We now have a store in Arkansas and are charged sales tax on the internet orders. I have used Cabela's visa card for years and got the 3% points but that doesn't offset our 9% sales tax. I use a different credit card now and shop less at Cabela's than I did before we had a store.

Went to the Charleston WV grand opening last summer and had to park out in a dog gone field. I'm surprised they didn't have a shuttle for that. That opening was a mess also. They did have ammo at that time. lol
