Larry,  Saw one at Sporting good store, The guy turned it on made a spot the size of a pickup across the store wall 90 yds away. That was in the daylight with all the lights on. He said he was a varmint hunter and love it. Said he liked it better than night vision.....?...Rod

I used one of the earlier above freezing models for a few months until it got cold outside. Now I have a subzero ND1. It is a cheaper model without a collimator. Beam size is too small for my short-range uses. I need a ND3 to adjust the beam wider.

I lit up some varmints with the original one and they never seemed to mind the light. I read the reviews on Cabelas before buying mine. One ol' boy said the number of hogs he shot at night was determined only by how many rounds he brought with him.

Thanks, Dinny
