Greetings and Salutations
« on: April 20, 2013, 06:13:25 AM »
I have been reading these forums, and especially the FAQ, for a while now. My purchase of an H&R shotgun led me here.

I figured since this place has been helpful I should register, and I kicked some money into the server fund to say "thanks" for the info and helpful folks.

I am from Rhode Island. I grew up shooting trap and 22 plinking, Boy Scouting, and was in the Infantry years ago, so know the woods and shooting. Being a Rhode Islander of course fishing is always a part of life. I grew up in a family that grew and put up it's own produce– I still grow a large portion of my family's vegetables.

At this point the kids are grown, I am still young (mid 40s), and Rhode Island is turning into one big suburb, so I am looking at land up north (Maine or NH) to farm, and considering taking up small game and upland hunting. I figure this is a good place to learn.

So anyway, howdy!
