Tipping Outfitters and Guides
« on: April 15, 2013, 02:15:14 AM »
I have booked my first and probably my last Elk and Mule Deer hunt with an Outfitter this fall.  Questions have arisen about tipping.  Is it done at the end of the hunt or each day in case I have a different guide on different days? Also what percent of the outfitter's fee is reasonable and customary for a good hunt?
My definition of a good hunt is reasonable accommodations, staff with good attitudes  and seeing, but not necessarily killing game.
Thank you in advance for any guidance.

Nothing set in stone. I like to give a good piece of equipment and at least a $100. I've never booked a long hunt, mine have been from one to 5 days, mostly around 3 average.
