Just about any manufacturer and caliber would be 357 x 44 Bain and Davis. Marlin wouldn't do it so I had one made for myself, it shoots real good too.

Steve E...........
This is another very interesting cartridge!  Kinda fell off the radar, but should be a natch. in any 44 mag rifle.  It will equal or exceed a 357 max in a lever action.  DP

A wildcat; a necked down 38/55 to 35 caliber, Ken Water's 350 Maine Guide comes to mind. Rifle; A Marlin, not Remington's Marlin, But a Marlin 336A, with emphasis on the "A". A= 24" barrel with 1/2 Magazine.
1 more and yes another wildcat, a 45/70 necked down to 35 caliber, similar to the .35 Greevy express. Rifle, again, a Marlin 1895 to replicate the 1972 vintage of said rifle.
Although one of my dream rifles and calibers has just found its way through my door, it's been a long time looking.
A Marlin model 375, 375 WCF. Another companion to the Ruger No. 3 and Winchester BB already in possession ;)
You notice the Marlins as my preferred rifle. Well I have a number of Winchesters also, being right now out of my dream and back to reality,
Winchester wasn't chosen, as looking at their new catalog and the pricing, of "Americas Rifle", I can see their trying to Persuade hunters/shooters from "ever" owning one.

Dream calibers for a lever action"
Mine are;
45/90,  45/110
50/90, 50/110, 50/120
Today i believe there is an open nitch for the old buffalo calibers.  I would love to have the bigger buffalo calibers to go bear hunting with.  It would be neat to have a lever rifle decated to the old buffalo hunters and to show respect for the buffalo too.   Just a plain jane old buffalo lever action rifle that would be real americana and american made too.  I tribute to the old west hunters.
If a manufacturer made it i'm sure most would buy it once it caught on of course.

I appreciate the sentiment and love me some history.

What people would buy however is a lever action with a detachable 30 round AR mag, chambered for the 5.56 nato. They would of course need quad rails flash, suppressor and a collapsible stock. A leather wrapped lever would keep that old school appeal for the rest of us.  ;)

I will have to add another caliber to my list--.450 Bushmaster or Thumper.  I had one in the AR platform and got an offer on it I couldn't refuse.  I do like the round and I like lever actions.

A 22 Hornet in a Marlin 1894 or Win 92.
