Wondering on price check for a .44 mag with super tough high density monte carlo style stock.

Local chain has it on sale for $269.99.

Good price or not?

That's about right, it will have a different stock than the one in the pic at Bud's tho, Bud's shows the old style stock, current production(since 2008) are the new style checkered on cast iron SB1 frames, not rated for any other rifle barrel except 357 and 44 mags.
