I want a 10mm.....but what one?

The OP ask could it be done in an emergency and it can but not recommended.
As for a 40 S&W mag in a G-20 ? never saw one the well is different than the G-22 I think.

Well, I guess if the 40 and 10mm were rimmed and shot out of a revolver it would work.  Being rimless and from a semi-auto, I could see where it could be a problem.  Like the 460 Rowand or Roland? in a 45 acp.  You have to change the uppersto work, or change the barrels and springs and the barrel has a muzzle break on it.  To me, I don't think you need a 10mm unless you want a semiauto in bear country.

I was thinking that as well but lone wolf has a note about getting magazines when doing the conversion. You might have to ask them!
 
If the cartridge  head spaces on the case mouth and the 40 is shorter I'd think you'd have some ftf due to case being set the  in the chamber too far.   It may not be dangerous! I cant say, but you could test it to see how dependable it is or get the conversion barrel.

I looked it up they say use standard G-20 mags with the 40 S&W barrel

Yes the 125 dollar one was 6 inch , but it was available! the 115 dollar one(4.6) is backordered. bird in the hand. I like the longer barrels especially in the high presssure cal's like 10 mm and 40 cal. I would love to see a 6 inch slide as well! They make a long slide 40 cal glock but they are rare. cause I have been huntn one.
