Remington 141's

I've had one of these new in the box. And was curious as to the proper method of pulling the bolt back when not having fired it. The reason I bring this up is that it became so hard to get the bolt back I returned it to the dealer from whom I purchased it from. Haven't heard of anyone having this problem. There was no instruction book in the box. Thanks, Frank

The 141 is a pump and the bolt release is on the side of the bolt itself.. Press the release and work the pump handle.. If it doesn't work it may have been just too dry, think lube..

Thanks for the info. I did in fact try breakfree and even went so far as to lightly lube it with some light grease I had. And did push the button on the side of the bolt and pulling the slide back. Shame as it was in cherry condition
and basically new in the box. Frank
