Schuetzen Reenactor Black Powder
« on: April 29, 2013, 10:47:44 AM »
I stumbled on a local gun shop (KY) that sells Shuetzen reenactor black powder for $8.00 a pound.  Looking at the specifications on granular size it looks like floor sweepings.  Would this stuff be any good for cannon feed?  If so between what bore size range?  Any experience with this stuff out there?

From the sounds of it this is meant for blanks as the burn consistancy isn't what it would be with fg or cannon grade powder the MSDS shows it's formulation seems to be high on Sulfer and lower on charcoal than normal.... it will probably be more of a mess to clean....

Mr president I do not cling to either my gun or my Bible.... my gun is holstered on my side so I may carry my Bible and quote from it!
