BENCHMARK ROLDEX

Inherited a couple of knives from my father and was wondering about the value of one of them.  It's marked "Bench Mark Knives" on the blade. The blade is about 3inches long, it has ivory micarta scales and a brown leather carring case and the original box.  I was wondering about the value of this knife.  Anybody know?

Thanks

Benchmark was/is a small semi-custom knife company originally started by famous knife designer Blackie Collins.  The knives,of which I have one, were beautifully made.  The most common steel was 440C.  Wasn't able to find any reference to a Roldex model, but the one I have was purshased in 1985 for $85.00 thru the North American Hunting Club(NAHC) which was still in its infancy.  Its a folder, 3 inch flatground 440C blade, with either Cocobolo or Bocote wood scales.  6 7/8 inches long, and quite flat in construction.  Has the NAHC logo etched on the blade.  You might check your local bookstore or library for infor; or try A.G. Russells website. He carried/carries benchmarks on occassion.

I was able to find them (well almost) available from AG Russels.  They were selling the one like mine with the ivory scales for $495.00, and they sold out!! :-D   The sales receipt included with the one I have was $90 including tax

I just might have to put it on ebay and see what the market will bear
