Dee, did someone replace your coffee with decaf?
I just want him to wear two cameras. One facing forward and one on his face. So we can see his face as he realizes that one ton hunk of mean mussle wants to kill him and comes.
I would just feel sorry for the PH that has to risk his life to save him.
I have read in a few magazines the passing of a few PH's this past season as they have tried to save the clients and were gored and stamped by a Buffalo.
If it were gust going to be him, I would say fine but he is going to put a PH and his staff in danger with his stunt. Use the proper gun for the proper game.
And yellow tail no one is saying a 30-30 is not a proper round for Elk. Some have said there could be better choices depending on where you hunt and how long you have to hunt. If I have a season, to hunt and had a 30-30 I would carry it. If I have a week I am going with something that will give me the best chance of success at all ranges I am able to shoot. Now if that is the only gun I own, maybe a different story. Maybe if I have a Royal hanging on my wall, a challange could be in order like hunting with a handgun. But you would not set out after a grizley bear with a 38 Special 4" model 10. It will work but you would have a better chance with something larger and more powerful. And saying you want ot use a 30-30 on a cape buffalo is similar to hunting a grizley here armed with a 38 special.
