Some of the mortars in the collection they have at Fort Nelson,
 

 

 
I liked this one quite a lot Bronze and the engraving on it was really nice and detailed

Yes you are not wrong there, A lot of the ordnance outside was in desperate need of painting. We have to do ours at the fort every year and with over 60no carriages etc this takes a lot of timeto complete.
