one reamer, multi calibers

greetings; is it feasible to use one reamer and purchase pilot bearings for different calibers? looking at 17ak imp, also in 20, and 22 calibers. basicially ending with a 22k hornet. thanks

It should be possible although the example given would be a tough one to produce..

Possible but the catch comes in you'd need a specific necker/throater reamer for each caliber. Better in my experience to just pop for the reamer you need.

Best way is to call 4-d Reamer Rental and just rent the tool you need..

Most reamer makers won't make you a floating pilot reamer in 17 cal, they are too fragile. Besides, by the time you bought all the neck/throaters you would need you'd be much better off buying the right reamers.
