Finally got mine done. Picked up and old 20 for 75 bucks. Barrel was rough, had rust and such. Cleaned it up and polished bore with brush and some polishing compound. Me and pops cut the barrel off to 18.5 then recrowned it and drilled and tapped to install original bead. Then dad filed me a notch in the top of the receiver to use as a rear sight for slugs. Threw on an old survivor buttstock and synthetic forend and man its sweet. I'll get a pic tomorrow. On call this week so won't get to shoot it til next week
