I have a Benjy NP Nitro Trail in .22 caliber and was wondering if it is safe to shoot lead BB's in .22 caliber Since there is no skirt on these, do they seal enough to prevent damage to rifle?

I really don't know about the use of them in gas-ram guns but it's a bad idea to use round balls in springers. Once the ball engraves the rifling there's little resistance between the projectile/bore, allowing "piston slam."
