300-MP in the Max?

Has anyone tried 300-MP in their 357 Max's?  I've found one person on another forum that has tried it, with good results, and said it loads up just like 296.  But don't have enough reloading experience yet to feel confident giving it a try myself without data. 


Main reason for wanting to use it is because powder is hard to get right now, and I just picked up an 8 lbs. jug of it.  Will try it in the 357 mag, and 44mag first and see what happens.


Just reamed out my Mag Handi to Max, so I'm excited to work up a load!

Went to the range today with some 357 Mag rounds loaded up with 300-MP, and was very impressed.  I took two other 357s to compare velocities, and what I found was that with the shorter barrels (3", 10") it was right on par with my H110 loads, but with the longer Handi rifle barrel the velocity was considerably higher.  I can only imagine what it would do in a true Maxi load.
