I was blessed to grow up in a family that made its living from the sea and land. Commercial, small boat fishermen on the North Atlantic that supplemented their income by selling wild game - hunting and trapping and growing vegetables mostly potatoes for ourselves . There was always guns behind the front door of our house, my grandfathers stable and behind the seat of the truck when I was growing up - not legal anymore in canada and times have changed - probable not safe either. Mostly 12 gauges with the occasional 303 enfield or 30-30 win. Currently own shotguns: 12, 20, 410. double, singles and pump. Love my single 20 H&R for strolling through the woods. Rifles: 303, 223, and 22 rimfires. Moved away from home for work as a young man and now with a grown family I seem to have a bit of time on my hands and am returning to the woods and recreational fishing. Mostly a hunter, " truth being known, mostly giving my gun a walk," but will shoot paper a couple of times a month. Have browsed this site several times and seem quite interesting. Have a wonderful day everybody!!!
