64pdr carriage
« on: May 20, 2013, 10:13:57 PM »
Hi All,
As I was doing some research for the 68pdr sliding carriage that I am currently building at Fort Amherst the main reason for visiting this place was to check out a few things. Adrian Roads has helped me out a great deal but sometimes it is better to see it in the flesh.

The interesting thing with this photo is that there are no holes in the front transom rails.

elevation screw.

Thanks for sharing.. For us europeian its great to get some tips for a UK trip. As a total WW plane-nut IWM Duxford has been my favorite place to visit, but I see that UK has a LOT more to offer ;)
Will visit UK during this summer, so your postings is good info for a roadtrip..
