We had a burgler break into a home where the people were gone. He stole a bunch of jewelry, and a Kayak.
A woman who lives along the river was out walking in her back yard and heard someone yell for help. She looked out and saw a yellow kayak, and a man beside it in the water. She ran and got her husband, but by the time they got back they could not see the man. The husband took his boat out and she called the police. The police and civilians searched the river, all the way down stream to the Tanana. They even had a chopper in the air searching. They have not found him.
The couple that lived in the home that was burglarized called the police and reported they were missing jewelry and a yellow kayak. They recovered the Kayak, and some other property belonging to the couple.
