My kids are visiting us for a few weeks. The granddaughter has been here for 3 weeks. Her mom & little brother flew in from Alaska yesterday along with her aunt. The Atlanta gang will be here next Monday. Then the gang will all be together again.
My little grandson was born in Alaska. He knows ice but a outdoor pool that never freezes way a strange concept to him.
The big cook out sure was fun last night. They kept pawpaw busy on the grill cooking chicken & hotdogs. My wife looked at me & said she never thought this day would come, having the family all together again. Long separations are just one of the prices missionaries pay to minister.
I love my Alaska years, & the good friends we made there. But it's sure nice to be home.
I took my oldest daughter on a trip down memory lane by the grade school she attended and the old church we all attended only a few miles from our present home. God is good.
