I think some birds have started texting while flying using their smartphones. I was driving along some open road yesterday and saw a bird flying toward my truck. Didn't think much more of it until I heard a thump. He hit the truck broadside. This wasn't a surprise scenario. The bird had plenty of time to see me, and most birds just fly around or over the car. I've never had one hit a truck broadside before. It bounced off and was flying in the opposite direction when I last saw it.
I figure it was either texting while flying or it had gotten into some happy weed.
