Burris 3X9 handgun scope eye relief question
« on: June 02, 2013, 05:22:59 PM »
I bought an older Burris 3X9 handgun scope today at the gunshow for one of my Contenders. Gloss with Adjustable objective. I am concerned about the eye relief. At 3X the eye relief is 10-20 inches or so and is fine but at 6 up to 9X the eye relief is only 9-11 inches. Is this normal??

My Simmons 2X7 runs 10-20 inches at 7X without issue. If the Burris has something wrong its no big deal as I planned on sending it back to Burris for target knobs and can have it fixed at the same time.

I have one on a 7-30W Contender.  Works just fine.  Don't think you will have a problem.
