just fyi... buttplate
« on: May 22, 2013, 02:43:49 PM »
The Thompson Center Renegade/New Englander steel buttplate fits very nicely on a Handi stock.  It's shaped, fits on flat, seems the right length and a little narrow so you can shave some wood off the normally fat stocks.  I've done two so far, and with the blued steel forend spacers.

Got it off ebay, $12+/-.  Here's pic on a 158 stock before shaping.  Length is just right.
