Classic bullet for a classic cartridge. 9 BHN & will shortly have Mr. Smith's LBT Blue.

Nice looking bullet.  A lot of folks cast too hard for the velocities of the cartridge they are shooting... That, along with a strongly beveled base often leads to leading from gas blow by.  A 9 BHN bullet with a soft lube can make up for slight issues of bullet / throat / bore diameter variances when pushed to moderate velocities.  Contrary to what some say, they do not become "shapeless blobs" when fired.  What gun are you using?  My USFA 44 spl. SA dotes on 240 / 250 grain swc's cast about the same BNH at about 850 - 900 fps.

My S&W 624 4" loved my Ly 429421 cast of WWt.s and sized .430 with a softish lube (actually, all my 44 cal.'s have). Misses were not the bullet's fault.
YMMV, but sized to your chamber mouth dia. should be a shooter.
