Fishing question
« on: May 20, 2013, 02:32:59 PM »
I caught a very colorful brown trout in Adirondack river;  about 15" long.   It had pink hues mixed in with the brown copper color.  Its jaw had slight hook, and it had sharp teeth.  The meat inside was not pink so I doubt it was native.  Is DEC stocking a different strain of brown trout/hybrids?

deeeelicious.  Caught another one just like it but a lot pinker inside.  I've decided they were both late stocked  browns survivors from last year.
