You just stumbled into the Ford Vs, Dodge, Vs Chevy war of the 22 Semiauto rifle.
Personally I went with the 10/22. I like the ability to make the rifle into a lego kit and presto chango it is something very different. All three of mine are still stock though but I like having the option to change the Standard model into another target model.
I think with any 22 rifle ammo matters and how clean the gun is also matters.
At a speed shoot I used to attend there were about 10 regulars. One guy was shooting a Marlin 60 Stainless, about 7 of us all shot 10/22's from stock to after market versions and the last two shot a 22 Upper AR and a Weatherby from the 60's I do not think there was a difference between the M60 and the 10/22 as standard units, but the Target models and the after market models were a little faster, accurate I think do to the added weight for the speed rack.
As a hunting rifle, flip a coin. I can go over feature after feature and compare the strenghts and weakness of each but it really does not matter. If you like the Marlin get the Marlin, if you like the Ruger get a Ruger, and the same for all the others.
