Problem is California will not build ANY kind of generation station cause the gutless politicians take the easy way out and buy power from adjoining states.And before you ask, I work in the electric utility business and know my stuff.

No doubt the leaks and problems are worse than the 'officials' fessed up to.  Always is with those guys....and especially that industry.

 This plant is another Fukushima waiting to happen and anybody who's been paying attention knows it...

 No tongue in cheek.


 The plant is on the coast in an earthquake zone and subject to tidal waves, similar to Fukushima. Another in CA (Diablo Canyon) is similar, but built directly atop a fault line.


 Not to worry though - It's been deemed safe by the NRC...
