It's not tax's any more it racket protection, i would not mind paying my fir % share if it would go to a good cause. NOT TO POLITITISIONS, NOT TO FOUREN COUNTRYS, When we have old people living here in the USA that can not afford to buy medicine they need and children going to bed hungry, this country SUCKS NOW

Every ballot I've ever cast has been about 1 issue to me:  Smaller, less intrusive, and less expensive government. 
 
I honestly believe there would be an uprising once a decade if everyone had to write a check for their taxes each April.  Instead most have become accustomed to just seeing a number on each paycheck and they actually LOOK FORWARD to paying taxes because they will GET A REFUND!  They think they are winning because they are too simple to see the big picture.  Make withholdings illegal and watch the government shrink.

Oh yea I just love paying all these taxes and I am so proud to do so.  ::)
Its getting to where its like we are paying taxes to Rome. And all the perverse people in a government like that. But every time I do I keep thinking about what Jesus said about this.

Dukkillr has a very good point !  If there were no "witholding" and people simply had to write one check in April to cover it all, there would be an uprising.
 
  Even better were ALL taxes to be paid in one check in April!  Then people would realize that in some states (NY for instance), they would be writing a check that would absorb all their wages into July of that year..
 
  Do you suppose people would be upset ? ;) ;D
