Leather Working Forum ? Lets get it started
« on: February 05, 2004, 07:52:17 AM »
I requested that Bill add a new forum for leather working. I just got started at it and am having a blast.

Not sure how many of you get to the area for requesting new forums but its at the bottom of the list of forums.

If ya could go there and express any interest you might have in adding this one to our great list, I would appreciate it greatly

DB, I have made upwards of 30 shooting bags (some possible bags) all sorts of containers for shooting made of leather and I would like to exchange ideas with others on the subject. I have made holsters and belts that carry holsters. My favorite is tanning leather and using what I have tanned. Deer hide is very tannable and can be used for a whole lot of useful items. I had close to 30 patterns that I made and went by. They were lost when my house and shop burned in 97. As soon as my new shop is complete I will be gald to share any of my patterns with anyone.Tryit

I think a Leather working forum would add a lot of interests ...help a lot of folks to get their feet wet so to speak.
