« on: February 20, 2004, 08:42:22 AM »
i was getting a mark all the way around on my .223 brass using my rcbs full length die, sent it in and they replaced it. in the mean time i was using lee die and i started getting the same marks? i was cleaning the die after every 20 or 30 shells. the mark is below the shoulder halfway between the shoulder and base. whats causing this?

cut one of the cases in half and check to see if the brass is thinner at the mark. If it is reduce your loads.
