I just wish both sides of the grip had the figure! But I still like it. Notice the wideeee thumbrest.

They come right out of his shop.  The man never ceases to amaze!!!  Another absolute beauty David!  I think the fancy side/plain side effect really adds to the character of the whole thing, actually.  WOW!!!

David, it is also known as California-laurel and Oregan-myrtle(Umbellularia californica). Not trying to sound like a smart a__. I really like what you do as I make stocks also(only for myself). Check into Boxelder(maple genus). It has a blood red coloring that runs through it. Kind of soft though.  Pat
