Help with date code for H&R 410 Topper model 098

My 12 year old son was just given a near perfect H&R 410 Topper model 098 from our neighbor.
I was trying to track down when it was manufactured. As far as I can tell by the two letters {HT} before the serial # would make this a 1957 ??

HT would be 2003, but the M098 was only made 1974-1981, it must be AT for 1979, or the frame is modern.
