I have had the best and the worst of both worlds with Tasco scopes.  But for shotgun and muzzleloaders I really like that proshot reticle.

I have had excellent results with the Bantam on my 45/70.I even ordered another one at that price to have a spare for any other rifle I might wish to put one of them on.

Do these have enough eye releif to mount in front of the hammer spur?

I found Natchez to be a little expensive as far as their shipping and especially their handling  is concerned.  But all in all a good price.

Just ordered one, but don't have it yet.  I'll let you know as soon as I get it, but I kinda doubt it.

The Bantam will work ahead of the hammer.

Ask and you shall receive.  Here it is on a pallet wood stock..34 inches overall.  Ended up taking a file to the back of the scope base and the scope fits now.  The eye relief is perfect for me.

I have a couple of them on dedicated short-range 22s....a Marlin 795 (woodchucks near cemetery) and a Savage 64 (squirrels).  I figured if they were made for a shotgun they could certainly stand .22 LR recoil, I was right and they have worked very well.

Here is a Handi 357 Max and a Marlin 44 Lever with the Tasco 2.5Xs on them. I also mounted a LED flashlight on the 357 Max and use 38 Special wad cutters for night critters pests.

From what I understand, since Natchez is also a wholesaler, and have agreements with their dealers/retailers in Tennessee, Georgia and Alabama to not undercut them in pricing.

I would try Midway, Optics Planet, or Mid-South.

Heck, I'd buy THREE if someone would grab them for me, and ship them....

PayPal is horrible for gun stuff, but it is all we got for cross border shopping right now.

PM me, if able.
