  That vid has been making the rounds for a few years now, firewood processors are getting pretty popular these days, but none of them are cheeeeep.

One of the commercial fire wood processers has a couple of these in Fairbanks.  I asked about cost, he told me unless you are doing it commercially it is too expensive to buy.

  It can be pretty entertaining to look at all the splitters and firewood processors that people have built.  There is something about the sound of a tough log going through the wedge of a powerful splitter that I find irresistible.
