Shes doing pretty well. Just had her second follow up surgery thursday. Most of the pins were removed. A couple had to stay a bit longer. Shes got movement in all 4 fingers but not her thumb yet. She is sceduled for a skin graft in two weeks and they said theyd probably pull the last pins out then. then she will have to start the long road of theropy which they said will take years.

Lloyd I just came across this thread and I really hope and pray that she recovers and overcomes this accident. Also I pray that your son in law is doing ok and that the Lord eases his pain, I know he has to be suffering as well!

Lloyd,
It was awful to hear of your grandaughter's injury. We hope and pray that her recovery continues and that she is in as little pain as possible. Hoping for her continued progress, and an easing of the family's pain ....

grandaughter is doing fine. She now has motion in all of her fingers and is just starting to get motion in her thumb. Shes had a couple skin graphs done recently and needs at least one more. She probably will never have total strenght and movement back in that hand but its a miricle that shes come so far allready. The doctors said its blown them away how well shes doing. Lots of prayers were said by good people like are here and im sure thats the major reason its gone this well.

I don't get to the Forum much, so I'm a bit late with some prayers; but then, again, it's never to late to pray for her recovery... I pray this will be a perfect recovery and only  a distant memory in the future.

Very sorry to hear!

I came in on this late, but I will be sure to add her to my prayer list.  Very glad to hear that she has been doing so well and will pray that she continues to improve.
