Tried out/sighted in my new 917VS using the Hornady V Max .17 gr. today. It has the laminated stock and I put a 3x9 BSA matte silver scope on it using Weaver style rings and the supplied bases. Sighted in very easily and by end of session was shooting .80 inch groups at 100 yds.
Needless to say, I am very impressed with this rifle, especially right out of the box. Will be trying some CCI 20 gr Gamepoint ammo later this week.
