Can a later model Winchester 94AE be reblued

Can his rifle be blued? I know most post 64 94's can't. I plan to rust blue it.

The post-64 model 94's had great trouble with bluing as they were cast steel with a high silicone content. Winchester just plated the actions (the only part affected
) with iron and blued the plating. The angle ejects should be ok but to check test the receiver with some cold blue. If it colors its good to go...
